Lana Del Rey is undoubtedly inspired by the “big hair” look, famously sported by 1960’s long-before-plastic-surgery-uber-beauty-queen Priscilla Presley and Nancy Sinatra’s “wear some flowers in your big hair” look, along with Ann-Margret’s “big-hair-that-looks-like-I-just-crawled-out-of-bed-after-having-kinky-sex” style. Needless to say, Lana drew a LOT of inspiration from them in the makeup department as well. But you can’t go wrong if your role models are some of the most gorgeous women of the past, can you?
